Sorry to hear of your loss dude.
I'd be gutted too.
Like what spokerider said, you should lock the bike IN the house.
If they can't see it, then there's nothing to steal.
I live in a private apartment with security guards; my neighbor's bikes which were parked outside his home were stolen even then.
Hope you find your ride back.
Take care.

 I'm awe by your awesome-ness, Rob-J
Plse remind everyone it's not a random jump but a well thought out one, nonetheless requiring huge balls of steel.
SICK!!!
U ROCK!

haha... yeah.. a bit skinny... just trying it out as a sort of an AM/XC ride... we don't have gnarly enough trails here.
These are 2.1 conti speedkings.... makes the bke really easy to pedal..uphill ;-) ... and rols quite fast on the flats..

Saint cranks... nice touch... that's the "father" of the DXR i believe ;-)
what length are the crank arms?

oh, that's an old model GT Power Series crankset... cold forged 7075, 175mm arms, sealed bearing, alloy spindle.
Pedals are SRP (taiwan brand, I think....)
I've changed the pedals to newer SRPs (slimmer) with magnesium cage, crmo spindle... lighter... ;-)

Splines on the crank tube are fine...fortunately.

Thanks for your offer, I'll sit tight for a while and see what comes up. Bike still works with the temporary Deore arm.... haha, cosmetically not so pretty tho.

Haha, thanks for the tips.... but my problem was not with defective equipment... but a defective mind haha... nah, I just plain forgot to tighten the crank arm bolts after servicing them... and snap the splines off left arm... when I landed off the drop-off.
the spindle is still fine.
I've temporarily fitted a Deore 175mm while I hunt down a SLX arm ;-)
